Made an appointment for a smog check and oil change on a Monday morning. It was in a location convenient for me. The staff was very polite, friendly, and helpful. The waiting room couches were comfortable. My car was ready in about 45 minutes. There was no pressure to up sell or pay for any other services. In fact, another customer brought their car in for tire rotation and balancing. The customer had purchased a used car that came with tires from Costco. The mechanic suggested he could have the service done at Costco for free, but the customer had already checked with Costco and was told the free service only applied to to the original purchaser. I was impressed by the mechanic's suggestion since he was providing information that would've meant less business for him. Brian walked me through the process of completing my car registration to make sure I knew what to do, since the smog check results are submitted electronically. I used a couple coupons for the service, about $63 out the door (oil change ~ $20, smog ~ $43 including the certificate fee). I am very pleased and will come back again.
