I brought my dad 's 1998 jeep to the shop because it was fail in smog test Drik and his mechanics repair the problem and pass the smog test they are honest and professional I do recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you , Excellent service and affordable price.

I own 4 cars & have had all kinds of work done here. Shifter cable replaced, a/c leaks fixed, airbag suspension replaced, cv joints replaced, new brakes, radiator replaced, & several smog checks. All of their work was done well & reasonably priced. I like that the owner (Dirk) & the office manager (Erik) give me cost effective options.

I absolutely HATE taking my car in for any work, almost as much as I hate going to a dentist! My air conditioner went out on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was 7 months past the 36 month warranty but 12,000 miles under the 36,000 limit. So I took it into the local dealer I bought it from on a Friday and was told he would not have a tech available to look at it until the following Monday so I had no choice but to make an appointment then. I drove up the street to PPA and spoke to Dirk (the owner). They took it in immediately and called me later with the problem. It seems I had a leak in the evaporator and they could do the necessary work for me right away. Another immediate problem I was having was that I had family visiting from out of town and I had loaned my other car to them. Dirk made arrangements for a rental car for me while they were working on my Jeep. On top of all that my guests were leaving town on Sunday and my wife was leaving town early Monday morning so I was all messed up. Dirk called me on Monday and said the job was completed and ready for pickup. I was very pleased at that as the dealer I originally went to wasn't going to look at it until that day. I just needed to get my son to provide a ride to PPA for the pick up. Then Dirk offered to send one of his guys to give me a ride. I have NEVER had this type of EXCEPTIONAL service from ANY auto dealership or service agency. I will be taking my car problems to PPA in the future. This is how a business should be run. Thanks Dirk

This is one of the few auto shops that will tell you what work you DO NOT need to do on your car. I went in for what I thought would be a brake job, but sweet Dirk said my brakes had 25% left on them Turns out the squeaky noise was cold weather related. Also, being a female, I'm accustomed to mechanics / auto guys trying to oversell me for car work, but I know enough about my cars - I read the manuals & GTS if the books don't have enough detail - to know when they are BSing so I can call them out on it. Poway's Precision Auto has NEVER been disrespectful to me like that. The interactions I witnessed with other customers was likewise respectful.

It's always hard to find a trustworthy repair shop, but after reading reviews I thought to give this place a try. My first contact was with Brian (he's no longer here) who came across very genuine and direct. He would always advise me what was needed for my cars, but then would also advise how time sensitive those needs were. He never up-sold to me, just told me straight and suggest time frames on doing certain repairs. I will continue to come here due to convenience and Brian's demeanor. Victor is the new POC and so far he's great! Get your repairs, oil changes and brakes do here!

Poway's Accurate Automotive is the only place I take my car to get serviced and repaired. They are one of the truly honest repair shops in the area and I always feel like they give me an honest evaluation of my vehicle. Great service!

Great work don here, and they are super-professional. All work is guaranteed. Noone tried to sell us unnecessary work, and their wheel alignments and smog tests are super-fast! This is The Best Pace to take your car for service in Poway, Rancho Bernardo and Scripps Ranch!

This place is beyond expectation. They treat you like a family, they treat your car like their own. My Benz is always safe here and I save a lot of money. I used to think car repair must to be done at dealer but after I got tricked by dealer few times and spent so much money, no more going to dealer. Ronnie is a great technician and I recommend this place to anyone with 10 stars :)

Great service, honored my coupon from get1free. Smog check for my 2006 IS250 completed within the hour on a Saturday afternoon. Comfortable waiting area with tv, magazines, water and coffee. Will definitely recommend to anyone needing a quick smog check.

I called to schedule a Smog test. I came in at 11am. The parking space was tight, and the office looks rough. But it had hot fresh coffee- always a plus. The burly guy behind the desk took down my info and key, and told me it will take about 20 minutes. I started to read a book. Less than 10 minutes, Boom! Done. Impressive turnaround time. They quoted me a price on the phone. That's what they charged. As a business owner, I appreciate a no-nonsense, competent service. No fluff. Just get-the- work-done type experience. I appreciate this type of service because I don't like wasting time and deflecting upsells. Thank you.
