Auto Repair in Poway

I just moved to CA and I need to get my car registered. I shopped around and read that this place was pretty cheap to get a smog test done. Their website has a printable coupon for $30 out the door test. I called and made an appointment for same day an hour later. I was in and out in about 20 minutes no problem. The guy working was very kind to me!

I came at 4:30 for a Smog check and was out of there by 4:45! Super fast and a great deal. Everyone was very friendly...if I ever have car trouble I will be coming back here!

Dirk was very friendly. Was able to get me in for a Smog check without an appointment. Got it done within an half hour. And a good deal for $30 including Cert. with a coupon. I may try them for service on my Escalade.

Hands down the fairest and quickest automotive shop ive run into. Although Brian has left, they still run a great business. They seem to really want to always give you the bare minimum price and truly have your best interest in mind. Have been and as always will be a returning customer.

Precision Auto is an honest, reliable and extremely friendly establishment. Not only are they professional, but they always take the time to explain what the problem is and how they will attempt to fix it. Dirk the owner, Mike and Eric mechanics, have helped me time and again with any problem my car has had with efficiency and care. I recommend Precision to anyone who needs an auto shop they can trust and one that will treat them and their vehicle with respect. They are also very affordable. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Always take my car here for oil changes & any repairs needed. Very knowledgable, helpful & honest shop. I have a Volvo s40 & they always make sure to get the right parts required for Volvos. Can be sure that repairs done are necessary , guaranteed & done correctly. Eric & Dirk will take the time to explain the repair & are helpful. Highly recommend shop for keeping your car running great !!!

I came in with a specific problem and instead of treating me like a silly woman that doesn't know cars, they had a diagnosis that agreed with my initial assessment. I have a cranky old car and was fully expecting a bunch of additional "must fix now"s , but that was not the case. My part was discontinued and they went the extra mile to try to track down my part, and ultimately fabricating it. The final price was way below what I expected and the customer service was awesome. Excellent shop with an honest owner. Brian will not try to rip you off or over sell you. Definitely recommend this shop.

Always does just what I need, nothing more or less. Easy to talk to and will explain issues. Willing to do oil changes on a BYOO basis, which is a huge convenience.
